A Chance
A Chance Everyone has a story . . . No of which are the same . . . Most of those that past through this place . . . Are of sorrow and shame. Is there a life without this heartache? ... Without this pain? I don't know how to live by me alone . . . There was always someone to give me a home. Never knowing how to live by me alone. My road once traveled . . . Had suddenly come to a halt? Because of the decisions, I once had made. Now no where to go . . . It was me I had to face . . . This person I had not really known. Left to make it on my own . . . Never did I expect to end up at this door. I’m lucky to have been blinded . . . By the reality of it all. The future staring at me . . . In it I must survive. My heart knew how it felt . . . There was no mistaken . . . That it felt forgotten. But something deep inside of me . . . Was earning to get out?... A feeling I now realized . . . I could no longer hide. I had no choice but to survive . . . That road I once traveled . . . I could no longer lead . . . Not sure which direction I needed to go. The first night I came here . . . I said a little prayer . . . For a piece of mind that someone was still there. And at that moment I could’t believe . . . A piece of mind had come to me. I came to the mission without a choice . . . But I left here with a chance of my own. By:Rachel Stacken
