Muse Memories
Riding to your house after work on a Thursday night "Kissin' you" by Total plays, now my mind is filled with delight At the time I was only 17 and very inexperienced My love life was in trials, so all I did was experiment And through that, you marked me as yours to keep Having me seek your company every week You taught me that everyone will not accept my style But you did, so we connected after a while Knowing I was into writing, you gave me a push of motivation Once I was at your house, I was treated with love persuasions Yeah I know I'm not ready And you knew this already There was never any rush, so our friendship held steady Then it became discovered My audience... There was another Man involved in her life After confessing that she'll soon be his wife I crumbled at her words The situation was a curse By all things that I've dealt with, this had to be the worst So I left without a notice Hoping she wouldn't notice Thinking, "Why did I do this to myself? I'm weak now and she knows this". Well now I've built off of that 3 years later, poetry is where I'm aiming at As for her, she's now a lovely wife with a wonderful husband Even today, we still mention our past mysterious loving.
