Autumn's Call
Gently flows the breezes floating brisk upon the leaves. Slip sliding through the air as each begins to bare. Hued colors come but seem so late past the schedule on the calendar date. Mid to end October cool seasons often change the rules. Summer occasionally dances on the edge and autumn lingers on the hedge. Fall burns remnants of summer heat and winter waits for all to sleep. Tempest winds begin to rise from the sea and sky reprise. Shadows fall dark and gliding to the ground as life continues to abound. Birds call out, happy, soulful cries not wanting to give on or die. They flit and fly from tree to tree basking in the sun and shade of need. On the wind gracefully they fly tiny images in the sky. Riders in the light of southern stars autumn calls the loneliest time by far.
