Saved in ways like no other, seemingly waiting for me to find them to see just what I needed to now. The hurt lessens and the affirmation strengthens. The lies disappear with each and everything to be found. Just like looking in a mirror, I see myself. A self denied by many, survived by years of faith, purpose and strength. He is no longer here, to know who I am now, yet I am learning all about him in ways I never fully knew before. There is a timing for everything. Sometimes we fight so long and think there is no end to the journey of such. But there can be. It just takes persistence in following what you believe in and never letting go of the truth. These reflections transform me in ways like never before. Giving me back something out of all that was lost. Never give up on what you seek to happen in life whatever that may be. Never hand over your soul to others. Live authentically no matter what 'anyone' says, because you are meant to be all you can be in this time here.
