I Remember
I remember lying thinking about about the past, I remember the day that should have been my last. I remember how close I came to my dying moment, I remember how it was in that horrible scrapyard, I remember how they kicked me ever so hard, I remember how much they laughed at their fun, I remember crying as they yanked the chain, I remember that my head spun with the pain. I remember the man who spoke away my fear, I remember that day so well I shed a tear. I remember the family that took me home, I remember the love they shared with me. I remember growing old with my human family I remember the pain they shared, my infirmity. I remember the day they had to set me free, I remember seeing the pain they could not hide. I remember the release they gave me as they cried I remember my family. in love they took away my pain, I wait at the Rainbow Bridge to be a loving family again.
