Storm
As night became day Stars dimmed , then faded away The sea, tinged with white spray Welcomed the dawn sky The red in the east Brought in the beginning, of a stormy day The wind rose Storm clouds gathered on the horizon The suns' hazy glow Lost in grey tumbling clouds A ships' gleaming wetness shone The waves grew higher The wind tore through A ships captain, on the deck Such beautiful nature too The suns' hazy glow Could be seen Between Scudding clouds Roaring wind Gunmetal sea Rising so Running before the wind The ship ploughed on Masts and spars whistling Such gleaming wetness Felt upon your face The exhilaration! The running race The sums' hazy glow Of a wind roaring The spray on your face White capped gunmetal sea Pushing relentlessly A wooden ship Gleaming wet On its' course Riding the storms' force
