A Broken Promise
A PROMISE IS BROKEN The feeling's I felt I feel no more. Cause pain and sorrow broke me to the core. He said he would never leave me here. Now he has gone I'm here to fight my own fear. As time passes by and life will never be the same. I would give anything to hear him speak my name. He said you'll are on your own and that was no lie. We never see his family anymore they don't even try. I'll never break my promise to him I'll do the best I can. God took him home but he'll always be my man. I pray everyday and night he was here with me. But for him not to be sick anymore I'll set him free. I have his love, memories and his children to. My soul still ache's no matter what I do. Two years has passed and I still feel pain. At bedtime my tears fall on my pillow like rain. Teresa Skyles 9/11/2014
