That may be me in many of my poems. The next two poems are ones I wrote in other parts of the workshop. The first one was about staring out the window. While Staring Out of Window Some things come close and are nearing While other things do keep disappearing Out of sight and from my wondering mind Causing and making things difficult to find. In landscape can always find a background Which will start from bottom of ground Beautiful butterfly starts to enter scene And sound is still or soft and serene. Suppose I shut my eyes for a while Open them and write using my style Describing what was in my each thought Web of temptation to write had been caught. God is there willing to help me prepare What will be here, there and everywhere With all of His great love and grace No wonder I am wearing a happy face. Why are women only supposed to be happy, smile and joyful. Guess it is because the nine months are over. Or maybe it is because she has to put up with a stupid husband. Sexism and racism and fascism and Nazism seem to be popular words these days. Wonder why. Maybe Karl Marx and Communist Manifesto should also be popular. I prefer the Bible myself. Jim Horn
