Examination
"I'm going to examine you today," he said. He had no stethoscope, notebook, or pen on his hands. He wore a long, white robe. Sandals took the place of shoes. "I'll examine your brain, a few moments from now....." I wondered how he would do it; there was no scanner. Moments later, he took out a surgical blade; it's glitter brought shivers to my spine! I couldn't imagine him dissecting my skull. I couldn't feel my legs. My knees were too weak to support me. I sat. Then he gave me the surgical blade. He smiled warmly as though it was blunt enough not to cause any harm. Out of the blues he brought an egg! "I want you to dissect this egg without cracking it," he said. "I don't want to see the yolk breaking or spilling." I was astounded! For a moment I was still and expressionless. He then looked at me and laughed. "I'm joking, of course!" he said. "Sorry I didn't introduce myself before.... I'm Swami Maa Durga Vinod Devraj, from India! You had told me before anything is possible, before. I just wanted you to confirm for yourself that fact....." THE END Six body parts used in the poem: *Brain *Knees *Spine *Hands *Legs *Skull
