Prophecies
She lets herself fall to the earth, How great her pain was. A never ending cycle. Darkness fills the sky, Diving after her. Like a lost puppy it follows. Her eyes glisten blue Reflecting the skys' anger Crackling and gasp fill the ground below all eyes focused on the shadow That seeks redemption Rain fills the sky Being fired from the sky like arrows Heartbeat increases The wind roaring through A sudden thump from behind The ground pulling her in The two cloaks outstretch their reach The wings swim beneath the clouds The agony pulls her away Despite the freedom and air The chains and locks help secure Exposed and open a dangerous act Back to the safe and secure Her trial ends now and back to the sky she must return The wings climb the darkness that leads Her feet touch down The soft safe haven Eyes flutter open inviting light Curtains brushed aside and pages flipped An empty room with nothing but restless sleep, A nightmare turned dream. Why isn't happiness all it seems?
