The Image of a Girl
im looking at a picture drawn inside my head its the image of a girl and the life that she has lead its not a pretty picture filled with pain and lies its the kind of picture only readable in eyes the ink is made of tears the drawings on her face with every line thats drawn its harder to erase i cant describe the picture in the sadness of it all i cant explain her tears but i watch them as they fall shes the kind of artist whose work you never know because unless your looking her pictures do not show i watch her listless hand form into a fist i cant tell what shes gripping but it cuts into her wrist she draws another picture more detailed than before but its in a different color because red ink falls to the floor this one leaves a stain that none had left before only growing larger as she draws more and more i can understand why pain is all she feels seeing how her wounds never seem to heal they just become more drawings on her wrist and face ink of blood and tears which is why they wont erase dated january 2004
