But be sure that you, give needed help too. When your support is wanted, take heed. If a friend or stranger stands in danger, And troubles at your doorstep are laid! Don't chasten or chide, or be full of pride, With willing hands reach out and give aid! Sometimes we rely on those passing by When we cannot cope with our trouble. Never count the cost, or all will be lost. For chances are, problems will double. For throughout our life, in times of great strife, We will need every true friend we've known.
