Ashes
Pain, anguish, humility Do you feel the piercing agony? Torment, sorrow, sadness Is it all make believe? Stop, stop, stop That is what they cry to thee The screams and moans get louder Everyday filled with a cloud of powder Burning, starving, hurting That is what they felt Whenever one walked through that gate.. Flesh is what they smelled Help, help, help But there was no reply Except the devil saying This is what you were dealt without a surprise The flames grew bigger The sounds ended with mutters Soon there was nothing left Except a clutter of disaster Boom, boom, boom The foot steps came closer Their hearts turned to a gloom Whistle, whistle, whistle The blasting came near Their eyes and ears were closed Go away , go away they yelled In a flash , in a second Help was near Then they heard "This will all be over with soon Jews" The despair was gone
