Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required It’s been hard making a living on this old dirt farm. I lost my wife and little baby, now the use of my right arm. My friends the ones that come and see me think I’m about to lose my mind. For not packing up and leaving, but I’m not the quitting kind. Everything that I have lived for is right here on this farm. I’ll not be threatened by the devil, nor will I fear his evil storm. The Lord is my shepherd and it’s with Him I’ll always walk. No matter how I feel it’s to Jesus whom I shall talk. I’ve learned to take the bitter with the sweet, and the good with the bad. And I read the book of Job, it’s what keeps me from going mad. The bad things that have happened to him far outweigh what has happened to me. I could complain but it won’t change what has happened or the things in which you see. I feel the Lord may someday show favor if I stay true to Him. I love the Lord with all my heart, and that truly is not a whim.
