If I Won the Lottery
I used to say if I won the lottery, I would buy a big church for my Dad. But that country preacher has gone to glory, and now has a mansion for his pad. For my Mother I would buy a big house, and a brand new car. She would have servants, a grand piano, and a gold guitar. I would have no trouble finding a suitable date. But they would have to be screened, or get stopped at the gate. My ex would come running, but I would tell him, “Not a chance.” What the heck, I would buy him a house too, but there would be no romance. I would travel, and go dancing each night with a new man, With no worries or cares, except for working on my tan. I would own at least ten dogs in my country estate, And they would have their own nanny, and eat off a silver plate. Maybe I would tire of champagne and caviar, and dancing til sunrise, And if so, I would go off to McDonald’s for a Big Mac and french fries. I would have my own driver, and a giant motorhome. I would be camping in luxury...and in the 50 states I would roam.
