Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required Look at me now fifty and still in the hole Never figured it’d be this way once I got old Seems somehow I got misdirected down the wrong road When I started on life’s journey I had a totally different goal I had my dreams of big houses and fancy cars Hanging out with big shots ,in the hip fancy bars But seems my dreams were as hard to reach as the stars And trust me I’ve tried you can tell from my scars Now I only blame myself , so don’t be mistaken I spent far too much time giving when I should’ve been taking Had all the opportunities they were mine for the raking But did not take advantage ,,,,and it’s not worth the faking See when I started out ,I was at the perfect pace My heart, my mind, and even Jesus was in the right place In the prime of life it all disappeared without a trace And somehow I lost faith and fell short of some of my grace looking back on all that i see how much has changed i been blessed with a wonderful life forget the fame might not have it all but i have my health ...cant complain SEE I HAVE A NEW LEASH ON LIFE AND GOD HOLDS THE REINS.. the moral to this story and I've learned it to be true if you don't give up on God he wont give up on you
