I Tried
I tried to care, it was too much to bear, I tried to let go from your hug, I slipped and didn't care, Now I lay myself down to sleep, I'm too tired to even weep, I tried to keep smiling, but I failed miserably, I seen the stares from everyone, no longer my secrets Can I keep... I took that step into the font, the water warm, inviting, I went under to become clean, but still I feel as though I'm too weak. So goodbye everyone, my time has come, no burdens, no pain, no sorrow need I feel, as my atonement has ended, the future seems way too bleak, sisters Heath, Myers, I know you tried your best, my shame, depression, is too much of a burden... I tried to come to church, be a good member, but my shame, tears, couldn't stop, my heavenly father knows my pain, but I know what I must do, so please everyone know that I really did love you...
