Sky
Many people wondered why she was captivated by the sky. They asked her what the point was in looking for answers in the stars, Why it seemed that the moon was always good company. She told them about people. She said people are bad listeners The moon, however, never doubted her opinions, And she felt she never had to prove herself worthy of open ears, To her, every star was a new beginning, a life, a story waiting to be heard. So she listened. It was while looking up at the night sky, she solved all of her problems. She wanted love, and only that. She just needed someone to see her the way she saw the stars, Someone to be her moon, But also stick around to be her sun. But, since that was merely a dream, She spent every night reciting poetry to the sky, Hoping, praying, that someday someone would be there to listen.
