Whom Do You Truly Love - 1 John 2: 15-17
Whom do you truly love? look into your heart to see what our affections truly are what seeds growing on our tree The Lord God himself is our desire well this statement should be true if He’s more important than anything for in His eyes nothing else will do For to love this world is folly as it can never satisfy you only God in His son Jesus Christ can satisfy and make you His anew Scripture clearly declares to all don’t love the world nor it’s standard it will only fill you with it’s dross leaving you with no lifeguard Jesus said narrow is the way to life those that find it will be few so be sure you love God truthfully proving that love to all who view God’s love is shown to be in us only when the world is clearly outside then Jesus will be our all in all trusting Him always to be our guide ('Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.') 1 John ch. 2 vs. 15-17 (ESV)
