The Devil and I - Part Ii
The Prince of Darkness begged to possess my soul with the words of the dark and a smirk: “Who gives a damn about what you do? You’re weak and desperate. You cannot change what you’ve done. No one cares if you exist, so don’t worry any more as I continue sliding this needle into your wrist. I will be your comfort. I will soothe your pain, and keep you stone cold. I will bleed from your heart. I will pour from your soul. I will cry in pain with you every morning you wake. For I will be the one waiting for you when you just can’t take it anymore. Devour this life and spit it back out. Throw up your middle finger, and let me find your next ride. I’m not a crime,” he lied, and he lied. “I’m a virtue,” he said. “Come with me to succumb to the eternal flame of desire.”
