Avoiding Dreams
A last serenade, unlikely meant to hurt, no way possible One question that won't seem to cope Why does it feel strange talking to a known someone who threw a bullet after bullet which finally nailed me but avoided my heart An own answered question, possibly yet it still makes no sense but all the time I've tried to make it make sense to me, to you One fight after one try left everything in a broken heap We were friends before us started maybe us can wait and being friends can last I know I've tripped a lot but I've done some growing up You can thank the book God wrote and the music he's blessed me with I don't have wings or halo but I just want to see What it would be to avoid a dream and relax Relax and count how many stars are left before I fall asleep tonight
