You Will Not Come
It will be wind it will be rain It will be blizzard and it’s sad, Of course, you will not come again To warm my cold and single bed. And I won’t see tonight anew The smile of your pretty eyes The pain arises not in you My speech will pray, but all my cries Are useless for that cruel night For sodden sky without its shores You can’t to help you have no might You don’t know anything, of course. I’m hiding, maybe all is game I love or I have never done I saw a dream, the mark, the name, It was just yesterday, it’s gone. Who’ll tell to mournful part of mine, Where you are secreting again? I’m drowning pain in bitter wine I cannot seize that cruel pain. Bad weather doesn’t care my own The wind, the rain and other things The solitary year’s not gone And you won’t come to save my sins.
