I'm no longer a shoe. that people use to walk on and look down on just like i used to on myself. no help, until you came along. and i couldn't say thank you enough so I'm stuck writing this poem. to hopefully show a tad of how much you mean to me. because without you, i have no meaning. i love you with all of my heart. and i trust you so much hoping you wont tear it apart. because you, my love, are the reason I'm still here. and if it weren't for you, i would have already jumped off the near... est bridge. the one that is closest. which reminds me of us in a way because i have never felt this close. to someone so perfect i never would have thought to adore. but now its because of you i was able to open another door. to take a look into the future and see you brings a smile to my face. and just know that what i see gives me lots of grace. this place. first place. when i am with you. no one has the right to tell me what to do. because you i know are here to protect me. and thank you for taking away the empty feeling i once had.
