Listen To the Warm
"It happens just because we need to want, and to be wanted too...when love is here or gone to lie down in the darkness and... listen to the warm.” -Rod McKuen The taste of your love lingers on my mind, more because I need than want it. Your touch, your breath, your face and lips press close, burn in my heart and on my skin with every kiss don't speak, close your eyes, never leave me alone. In the stillness of the night, I remember us in forever it is only you and what I felt and feel when we are one together, nothing else, no sound, no sight, no touch is real. Let me lay in your arms - never to be free, not memory, not pictures, not sound, not dream, just you and me. Love burns within the heart, unbound by space or time and the warm between us can set the night afire un-quenched, undying, rising embers through the dark. Stay with me, listen to the rising temp between us as it burns, just a little more, one more time again in the silence of the warm. 4/24/2016
