Emotional Race
Emotional Race By: Jakari Hudson I look down then I look up again why do my feelings always have to win I pick up the blade and stare at my wrist the scars would fade into the mist I cry for help but it's all in my head I couldn't seem to notice that my wrist were red. hours turned into days & minutes turned into hours the blood rushing through will soon be sour I can't stop crying I'm praying for help one more cut is a huge step. I put the blade down & look in the mirror the way I'm feeling now couldn't be any clearer. I feel as I'm strong but there is no where I belong I am a outcast a shadow my voice is never heard my life is censored My words are blurred I try to stop but my mind keeps racing trying to get to the finish point without even pacing.
