I'M Sorry
I’m sorry for the flowers that I always sent Being a nuisance was never my intent I apologize for all the mushy letters I thought with you, I would do better I just wanted to show you how I feel To show you that love is something real I was simply amazed by the beauty of your eyes All they ever did was remind me of a sunrise Your smile always had me in awe It was the most beautiful thing I ever saw The problem is I always thought with my heart Instead of letting my head take a part My heart would always tell me what to do When my head would say, “son have you no clue?” I understand that love is not your thing Which is why I always gave you a candy ring One thing that I do realize is this You always loved me, but just with a love that does not exist This is why I want to thank you Because you inspire me to do what I do
