Survive
My heart is broken, don't tell me that you love me, You left me here alone, took part of my heart with you, Part of me died, you didn't only take your own life, You took me to the grave with you, I forgot how to live, Without the other half of me, how do I love again.... Tell me.....when all I hear is quiet.... I want to scream ....but my heart is silenced... Where do I find that love again, I vicariously live through my family and friends, It is the only joy I have, that makes my heart alive again, When I hear it pounding the pain goes away, I can make it through another day, Without reminding me of my loss, You have no idea of the severity or the cost, When you've lost that much, how much more do you have to lose, To give what is left for the love in you, To survive......
