Half a Heart
Worthy of my trust, Worthy of my love, Being with u was a must, My sweet soaring silver dove. I adored you so much, I cared for you too much. To me you were a treasure, I never had a bond as such. You; my true friend, are always there, You; my true companion, are always by my side. When I am alone, and lost anywhere, When I’m sad, in you I confide. But no, not only just the above, Each time you have been with me, In good times, as well as bad. Even when happy, your jolly face I would see. You have been sweet and kind to me, Ever since the beginning, the start, You were so loving, so caring to me, You captured a huge place in my heart. But now you’ve gone away, Leaving me at another start. To face you, I have no way, So I’ll be living with half a heart.
