Missing Grandma and Grandpa
Never again will I travel down the highway to go to their home, having a cup of tea with grandma around the garden with grandpa; I'll never roam. My eyes are welling with tears as I'm writing this down, I felt so much love for them my face now has a frown. It's hard not to think of them I spent time with them as a little girl, grandpa enjoyed my company grandma loved my blonde curls. I feel much sadness within me never again, talk to them on the phone, I'll miss travelling down that highway to me, it will always be my second home. My days and nights will go on with them being so far away, I'll never again hug or kiss them or travel to their house down the highway. Copyright Cynthia Jones June.11/2015 I definitely will miss travelling down the highway, to go to grandma and grandpa's house in St. Andrews. I always used to look forward to going there. I remember always calling them on Mother's Day and Father's Day. On their birthdays, Christmases. I miss them dearly. The wounds of their passing, is still fresh.
