To the Ignorant In Chicago
To the Ignorant in Chicago By Franklin Price 3/12/2016 To the ignorant in Chicago and their organizers too, Who gathered to cause mayhem, 'cause the Trump is not for you That was not the way to do it. The way I now will note Travel to the polls and have your say; give another one your vote I know the first amendment; you've probably heard about it too Tells of some rights and privileges that we have the right to do Maybe you should read it and let the words sink in your head. You may assemble PEACEABLY; not come for fear and dread You may make your voices heard. The first amendment says that too But to gather there for trouble, is not your right to do Use that energy more constructively; be the vote who was the straw. The straw that broke the camel's back, do not disobey the law. Use your effort, voice and gathering to push the one for you Convince as many as you can that they should like them too Then go to the polls and vote. It's not your right to stay away. The one who gets the majority will be the winner polling day You can riot all you want, that really doesn't get things done Democracy doesn't work that way; though you may think it's fun. If you follow organizers who think disruption's part of it That's not in the Constitution; not even just a bit.
