I once read that the greatest sound we ever hear is the calling of our name. I’m not sure about that, but without a doubt, I am certain about this one thing. I had a sister who met an early demise; and she called my name like no other. There was a certain sound and tone in her voice that arrested and captured me every time. Perhaps she saw something special in me, but in reality, “the special” flowed from her. Whatever she gained from me cannot compare with this deep and abiding memory of her. When she uttered my name, the big three of love, respect, and admiration embraced me. After Jesus' resurrection, Mary thought that Jesus was a gardener. She recognized him only when he called her by her name, "Mary". The magic you experience may be totally different from Mary's or mine. What's important is that your "special" is uniquely designed for you. This magic is unlike hidden materials of gold, silver, or precious stones, that are dug out, hunted for, or explored.
