I'Ve Seen My Queen
>This was another poem I entered into an Internet competition. Again it was chosen to be included in another published book. However I did point out it was already in one of mine. This is based on a true happening. The only problem is I cannot find the picture I took of this lady waving at me, whilst she was sitting next to her husband. I've seen my Queen. I've seen my Queen from afar. In a coach and Royal car. Did she see me? I called aloud. But I was hidden by the crowd. When she did wave her hand you see. I'm sure she was waving at me. I thought so carefully where to stand. To get a view, that would be grand. I know, I'll wait at this roundabout. The car must slow, there is no doubt. The crowd all shouted, 'here comes her car.' I saw it coming from afar. Sure enough as it approached me. It did, it slowed so I could see. There was a smile, a wave too. She looked my way, she did it's true. A moment's glimpse as they drove past. My Queen the Duke my memory lasts. Oh yes, I was so proud that day. When my Queen smiled and looked my way. There is some space. So now I can prove I can write short poems. A short poem I started to write a poem. The time is half past four. Now I must stop, I hear a knock. The someone at the door. Kat's asleep. Kat's asleep. Dreaming. Twitching. Kat's asleep. Twitching. Dreaming. Kat's asleep. Reading poems. I like to read my poems. I like to read a book. To make me really look. I'd like my poems in a book. All the above poems are in my books already in print on, ' feearead,' Internet publishing site. Today, as I am house sitting, waiting for my grandson to come home at my daughters. I think I'll add another poem, hope you enjoy it,as it's a pain to me.<
