It was never meant for me I grew up fallen down With no one for miles around To come and pick me up Or raise a smile on this frown Then I met her, the love of my life And she agreed to be my wife But the happy times we shared Wouldn't stay in my life She picked me up And filled my empty cup I finally felt joy And my heart was lifted up We were happy together And always told one another How much true love We had for each other But then, the clouds darken the sky The happiness leaves... but why?
