Shackles and Chains
As the hands of time, march on, and revolve So to the days of my life, thus evolve. Each day we toil, at the work, strive to acheive, and never shirk, The duty of thine labours, For which we then doth, receive. Such is our lives, systematic, often bureaucratic, Governed, at times to the point, When we can no longer think for ourselves. Our minds are lead, often easily, Our thoughts, surrended all too freely. Gone then is our Ideology, our free will, All are tainted, As we struggle, to pay the bill. Yet as time has shown, Man cannot be chained forever, His will to be free, It shall always endeavour, His spirit, although stretched, it doth return, And in his mind, a thought, begins to Burn. “All Men are Born Freely, His thoughts His Own, His Life, He Lives, It will be his own Choosing, Not given, or Controlled by Others, To torment for their own amusing, His will, it doth bend, though never broken, Our Life, is all we are given, And it should not be forsaken.” Time has come, when you must choose, Remain a prisoner in their society, Forever lost in there Piety, Cast off their shackles, break the chains, It is time for us to be whole, once again, Live long and happily in a World, Where we reign.
