I convince myself to just find out, Maybe it will have a different ending. Every time I think of you, My heart beats faster, I don’t know whether it’s a warning from above, I don’t know if it’s the right feeling. Your touch, so assuring I could fight the world for you. I begin to let you in, Deeper I dig every minute we spend together. Haha! The ways you make me laugh and forget about all my problems, The way you kiss and take me to another world, The ways my stomach turns when you look into my eyes. I swear I knew that was love. What other thing would it be? Then reality and its harshness came slapping me. You had to leave for your country, I was gonna be left with only memories. Memories I thought were gonna bring us back together, Memories that would stick with us despite the distance, Was I wrong to think that love will bring us together? Was I wrong to dig that deep? They tell me to hold on, it will get better, Hold on! At least don’t give up yet, Hold on! Try and understand him. But who will understand me? Who won’t give up on me? Who will believe in me? You tore my heart, You raptured my soul and, Distorted my senses. Who am I know that, I don’t want to live without you? I do blame myself coz of believing too much, I did dig quite deep. I forgot reality. I thought we would fight for us together, But I was in the battlefield alone. It all comes down to me, I saw things in a different way than you did, You saw a friend, I saw a lover.
