I Dream To Fly
Why would I stay? Why would I fight? I can't find my way I lost it out of sight The little girl on that old photograph danced and twirled fell down and laughed They say it's me I close my eyes in disbelief I shake my head I can't be recognized not even slight I seem so happy so strong and carefree But that's in the past it will never come back for my smile didn't last and now everything's dark It's irrelevant it doesn't matter This isn't Wonderland and things won't get better So listen to me hear what I say I'm gonna be free in the wind I will sway I know what to do it won't take too long I'm holding the blade and sing one last song My veins have been slit the floor's turning red There's no sign of pain I can't feel a bit Alone in my room whilst waiting for death I look at the moon as I take my last breath Now I'm gone floating in the stratosphere letting go and moving on of what was once and what's to be I had to go and say goodbye I had to die so I could fly
