Red: the Color of Love
Her sensual scarlet lips tempted him to taste the sweet kisses that awaited. There was a rosy blush on her cheeks, drawn out by his intimate whispers. Deep claret wine graced the crystal laden table evening lit by the golden light of a full moon. A hundred carnelian candles, varied in height, enhanced the room where seduction would ensue. Heat from the flames not nearly as torrid as the smoldering look within their eyes. Scent of long stemmed crimson roses filled the air. As they danced, he spun her into his arms. Her deep carmine silk dress clung to the curves of her body. Guided her to the burgundy brocade couch, sat beside her and took her face in his hands. They stared into each others eyes, but not a word was spoken. Without taking his eyes from hers, he went to his knees and offered her a red velvet box. A single tear fell to her cheek. Nestled within the white satin was testimony to his love, a ruby ring, encircled by diamonds.
