Those Silent Voices
Wandering around a diluted mind, Constantly blurring your sense of time. Those silent screams that only you hear, The quiet pleading in your head that happens throughout the year. Your sense of calm is a long ways gone, this constant turmoil has become your norm, They call your name, they scream in pain, And all you can do is be witness in vain. No one would understand, this isn't something a pill can treat, To still be who you need to be is quite a feat. These voices come and go, just as people that pass through your life, But the saddest part is the owners of the rampant voices, Some of which you know, while some of them you'll never meet. When the time is come and you've had enough, the voices don't discourage but they understand, They welcome you with open arms, your arrival long past due, As your body goes limp and metal clatters to the floor, you know that even with absence, you will not be missed.
