A Fairytale Enchanted
A FAIRYTALE ENCHANTED Many, many times ago, milady was born. Beautiful child of nobility, gentle birth Englishwoman. Graceful life she did live. Shelter away in the castle along. Her mother did have other children, but they were all long gone. See her hair was of ginger. Such a beautiful golden blonde. She would brush her hair all day long. As she watched, her hair grew longer. She was not along. 'Rapunzel', she was called. Her mother was always away doing chores. Rapunzel would stand in the castle window looking afar. She did not have friends like other girls. Her mother would say Rapunzel you are of noble blood. Now, her hair had grown so long. The castle was 10 stories tall. When daylight came, Rapunzel would let her hair down. Her hair almost touched the ground. Rapunzel song like a songbird. Her voice was heard quite far. Her mother would help her brush her golden locks adorned. Milady would be serenaded by a Prince who had been listening to Rapunzel sing since he was ten. He was a charmer in everything. Never did he feel so little confidence. The prince name was Avalon from his paradise. He was the son of King Arthur not known. His mother’s family was also of royal blood. He came upon the castle by horse. He stood beneath the window doing Arora. Singing a song of beauty, which asked for Rapunzel appearance and that demands her emergence. Prince Avalon speaks: Rapunzel, Rapunzel – milady let your hair down. I am Prince Avalon who has come to give you my crown. I have never spied on anyone as gracious as you are. Rapunzel, Rapunzel – milady I believe I am in love. Your beautiful voice I adore, and I known that it is you I ardor. Rapunzel speaks: I am Rapunzel. And I do know of your time. It is not that easy for me to let my hair down. My mother is away for now. Come back again before twilight. We will meet face-to-face there for the first time. Beneath my window, you will stand, as I emerge to meet my Prince. Prince Avalon speaks: This is understood. I will be back at the top of crepuscular as bright as any Prince would be in love. Rapunzel speaks: I be here awaiting your return. Me and my mother will welcome you and maybe you can come in to have a cup of tea. Rapunzel, Rapunzel let your hair down. I have return at twilight time. Rapunzel, Rapunzel! ____________________________________________________| Written January 30, 2016!
