The Milky Way Watcher
It was past the hour, and I saw your picture hanging from the side of my door. Its getting colder outside and I sit here vaguely thinking about how you soar. If there were a million moons closer to earth id figure we would have a Martian. If they came to earth I’m sure we could give them something that’s a harshen. I held your smooth hand and nothing has ever been the same Lost in all the calamity of this world, and not even knowing your name. As I breathe in your charismatic scent, I feel you near. Beside me in the silence of the hushed stars of this night we fear. Flying a spacecraft into the dark abyss can consume someone with a single swallow. Jagged craters move faster than the speed of light and destroyed the Apollo. This isn’t a cartoon like the Jetsons, and I do not get my own dog-named Astro. The only reason why I’m up here getting paid and risking my life is because of Castro. The Milky Way watcher is one of the loneliest jobs anyone can ask for when looking in the sky. Time to watch the world pass in a blink of an eye
