All the Time
All The Time I used to worry: About things I could not change. Stressing out; Yet things remained the same. Put too much stock; In the opinions of peers. Focusing on negatives; And relying on fears. I think now; I must have been out of my mind. I can not have back; All that wasted time. If I had the time; I spent on worries and stress. I could have smiled more; And cried alot less. If I had the moments again; I spent thinking about who made me mad. I could have enjoyed more; The time with my mother and dad. All the time wasted; If I could only have back. To spend this time; On the right track. To spend being grateful; For whatever life brings. And waste not a moment more; On the unimportant things. All the time in the world; Will not be enough. When your loved ones have gone; And you're just waking up. ~ Darlene Doll Smith
