So many lives fulfilling their dreams. So many hearts that have been broken. So many stories and words left unspoken. I see the faces of the strangers. Milling about in their daily lives. I know that I can never know them. It's strange to think we don't have the time. We select a handful of faces to get to know, to call our friends. What happens to the many faces that walk on by to different ends? Like ghosts to me - they're there then gone. A smile can lighten the heaviest load. A connection's there and then there's none. What could have been? Perhaps a spark, perhaps a shared sensation? Perhaps a love of life, perhaps eternal damnation!
