Lost Loved One
The coldness of a lost loved one attacks like a parched lion on a late afternoon. It lurks and looms within me. It carves its way into the depths of my locked delight and take from me my ounce of life. Breath hitched, an anxious heart drained of vitality, quivering lips, arms that grope for absent comfort, silent eyes glossed in sorrow.. This is what the lost of a loved one feels like to me. This lion named Depression sunk its claws of excruciating misery into my ovaries, in rich crimson, spills my innocent joy. Everywhere I look, it is painted a dreary blue. I cant see the rest of the magnicifent hues, why, they have been locked from me. The lion has snatched it from me along with my ability to crack a sincere smile. Hollow is my insides now as the lion's ivory fangs feasts on it greedilly, it leaves a black void that will never again be able to be filled with emotion. I lay in a pool of scarlet that was once my happiness.
