Beautiful
Baby birds on a branch, musically twittering, Evening sunsets and dawns radiant and wonderful; Animals, great and small, all these are so fascinating, Utterly lovely is a forest draped in tangled vines graceful. To me, all these things are divine, sublime and so alluring, Incredible, exquisite things inspire me to write poems delightful; Family stories told by elders, in the night with candlelight flickering, Until the end of time, I will write of these things that make life colorful. Lovely scenes of creatures grazing and horses in a meadow, free and running, Light upon my garden flowers, snowflakes falling and all things, oh so beautiful. _______________________________ December 28, 2015 Acrostic/Rhyme For the contest, Beautiful Acrostic, sponsor, John Hamilton Fifth Place
