Late For Marriage
Late for marriage Loneliness engraved deep into my heart, I now am a mere stone. Many springs bloomed and autumns saw greens turn into orange, twilight of dusk brought no light of love as years passed by. No better than a piece of brain, I am work and all work. Ended the wait for the Prince Charming with dumped unsung unrhymed notes and plucked strings of subtle heart. Try not mend my violin those threads of thoughts and hollow heart, Try not steam my mind those foggy images in time forgotten, Try not set ablaze those dousing embers for years frozen, As I love my freedom own ways with life, As I have no feelings to be someone's wife, Asking buds to blossom know the time lag, Faded colours if shine I might not go blind, Words that were lost under covers of time, Don't unveil to set free for everyone to see, My embarrassment of learning so late, Marriage was never my fate, I want to be just myself.
