Should not past treasures ease my anguished wait, Or the plenitude of love filled blessings on my plate. Life has been a wild horse so swiftly rode, Wherein obeying human lust was the reigning mode. Too late, man desperately seeks another way, And too often Fate and old Age say- Time to pay! I am now so old, no bouncing on bare feet, There is so much to hold and still much to eat. Dare I, deeply anguish over my too soon coming Fate, Or sit back with knowledge its never too late, To rebirth yet again, my long lost inspirational hope, And write anew the love letter in romance's envelope!
