Can I Learn To Love Again
O why does love leave me in such despair? My heart was breaking bit by bit. Now, only now, does it come to light. Love a bright, shining stallion. Galloping through and crushing dreams. O days, why do you waste yourselves on my pathetic heart? The man that I loved is gone. The time I spent is gone. Fluttering, fluttering in the summer’s wind. To find myself, alone, and crying for mercy. O why does love have to hurt so much? When the clock ticks again. The days become real. I scream in agony. Holding on to the little pieces of a past life. O why shall I miss my lover as roads miss cars? My back is cut and bruised from him. Yet I clutch on, and will not let go. My hands are red and sore from him. Yet I breathe pure happiness into his air. O why do I die from love?
