It's My Turn
You took care of me, fed me, made me feel safe. Dear Mother that is what you told me to do when I had a baby. I t seems you are now my baby. I'm changing you and holding you hoping you'll feel safe. When did you turn into my baby? I know it was hard for you to watch us roll you from side to side to clean you and still keep your dignity. I'm sorry for all you went through I hope my voice was caring and soft as yours was to me my sweet mother. Your advice is what I used to take care of you once you became my baby. Your life was ending the feeling of joy was gone for my baby would not thrive or flourish you would only rest now. Rest in peace with the warm feelings of love and comfort we passed to you. Sweet eternal dreams my dear Mother you remain forever in our hearts...
