Autumn
Autumn, when Nature welcomes death, when trees take their last breath. Autumn, when flowers mourn their youth, when Nature stilts her growth. Faeries will fight over which tree's leaves fall first Wood nymphs and elves into song they burst! Witches and peasants, they all make fires bright Which burn fiercely, with all their might! Children run around like fallen leaves in the playground Like flames licking the wood on Bonfire Night, they feel they should have celebrated Hallow's Eve with more sweets, with even bigger pumpkins. Night falls faster, ghosts feel better The time has come, the weather is wetter! The naked branches, swerving in the wind makes you think, makes you quiver. Autumn is here, Nature welcomes Death! And the trees breathe their last breath.
