If only they knew how I longed to sit beside your bed and be the very last one to hold your hand and kiss your head just as the angel came. Hospice said you waited until I wasn’t there at the moment of your unending love and care but nothing held or holds back the tears. An angel came and whispered in my ear that you had shed your very last tear and all the pain and suffering had found an end. . I understand but saddened too, that those last minutes, I was not with you when the angel came.
